This Web Page is under development. What follows is just fill-in until I have time to develop a nice storyline.
I think that the very first stop on this story page must be a quick recounting of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s remarkable expedition of 1915 aboard his ship “Endurance”. This story was originally told by Shackleton in his book, “South” (currently again available – Carroll & Graf Publishing Group), and popularized in the book “Endurance” by Alfred Lansing.
I first read of the story in the April 1922 edition of National Geographic Magazine (Pg. 409).
I will write much more on this story later. In the meantime GET THE BOOKS! They are among the best books that you will ever read! Promise! |
